Musk and Trump can make recommendations but it is up to Congress and the Senate to act.
During the President Trumps first term he wanted to give the taxpayer a larger stimulus but the Senate said, “No” and reduced it.
How quickly people forget who is in charge of the purse.
Give people some crumbs and the will do anything you want.

Religious movements are part of the same problem when they align themselves with the so-called conservatives.
