Just An "X"
For those worried about their family’s future, something to think about.
When I see pictures of Elon Musk with that blank stare and forming an ”X” with his hands the following thoughts come to mind.
Years ago when people could not read or write they signed documents with an “X.” Many people thought they were illiterate so they were mindless and a nobody. I actually saw people sign documents with an “X.” At the time I wondered how hard it was to go through life without the ability to read or write. They needed others to tell them what they were signing and had to trust those people with their finances and lives. The ability to read, write and sign your name made you someone, you were an individual and unique. Your signature was you and only you and it gave you security.
Today that uniqueness and security is gone with rampant identity theft. The sad part is no one cares. Law enforcement does no investigation, just fill out a report and move on. Insurance pays the financial institutions for the loss but for the individual they have been violated, have to rebuild their stolen lives and it can take years. Their identity and uniqueness is gone, they no longer have their security and they have to rely on others to secure their identity.
For many recent years the push has been for everyone to be like everyone else, no individuality and uniqueness. Most everything today is digital including signatures and that digital information is controlled by Big Tech. Once again no personality or human contact. The hard push for AI (Artificial Intelligence) means everyone will be the same and mindless, no individuality just an “X.”
We are on a path where everyone will be the same, mindless because they will be told what to do by AI. No individuality, thinking or uniqueness, People will be nothing but “X’s.” Technology is a tool, not a way of life. Sadly today for many, technology is life. They have no problem with their lives being controlled by Big Tech with AI. That attitude is going to lead to their demise because they will be nothing but “X’s” easily erased and deleted.
In a Republic the power is with the people. The President should be listening to the hardworking citizens of this country that selected them for office. No President should ever have the ultra rich in his ear or as advisors. Sadly this is not the case by what we saw over the last hundred years and what we are seeing in front of us now. We are seeing a repeat of 1913 when the ultra-rich bought the country. Sadly with his actions it seems President Trump is endorsing this concept with his Administrations push for AI use by Cabinet Departments and his praise of Big Tech and the ultra rich oligarchs that run it. What we are seeing in the country today is many people are swallowing this swill and applauding. Give people some crumbs, they will be happy and do what they are told. This is on full display with how people are applauding Big Tech and the oligarchs that run the companies.
Attitudes have quickly changed because of all the promotion and hype which is just a distraction to what is really happening. Someone keys a Tesla it is now a federal issue called domestic terrorism. Someone keys a Chevy, Dodge, Ford or other vehicle it is an insurance claim. Vandalism is a local issue to be handled by local authorities, not the Federal Government. This overreach by the Federal Government to put one person’s type of vehicle over another is favoritism and not justice. When the Federal government gets involved it is also putting us on a dangerous path of losing more of our rights. You always have to be concerned when the Federal Government take over local issues. In the past nothing good has ever come from it and a good example is the Department of Education. Those that are cheering the Department of Justice’s recent actions are the same that want the Department of Education closed and want to return education back to local authority. When the Federal Government intervenes it means they are warning people the government will not tolerate any dissent. People are blind or just do not want to see they are being played to surrender their lives to government, Big Tech, the ultra rich and the well connected. They are willing to be just an “X.”
With all the hype that is being pushed today I look at the nonsense this way; The boat on the river is floating toward the waterfall. We snagged a branch in the water with the selection of Trump in November. People are cheering the win but what they don’t realize is the boat is turning and the stern is now facing the waterfall. We have broken away from the branch heading toward the waterfall backward while everybody is facing the bow and still applauding the win. They have no concept that they are still going to go over the waterfall.
For the record I do not want AI, Big Tech or the ultra rich to run my life. I have common sense. I can think for myself. I am an individual. I am unique. I am not just an “X” and I never will be. Unfortunately no one is listening or cares.
