The Old Days Or The New Golden Age?
No matter what people think we are never going back to the “Old Days.” Going back to the “Old Days” will not fix the problems that they created. You can never go back, all you can do is move forward and learn from the past so you don’t make the same mistakes in the future.
Today that is not what people are doing. The group of ultra-billionaires coming together for the new Trump Administration seems very similar to another meeting for the control of the country, Jekyll Island in 1913 when they formed the Federal Reserve. Sadly nothing good came out of that meeting for the country and the hardworking US citizens. People are completely ignoring what happened years ago and are heading into something much worse.
Many are calling the second Trump Presidency as the start of a “New Golden Age.” With all that is happening in the Washington, DC today and all the ultra rich oligarchs being praised in front of us you have to ask the question, “For who?” With what we see now the “New Golden Age” will not be for the average person, it will be for the ultra rich, famous and well connected.
Massive corruption of our government goes back to the Industrial Revolution and the Robber Barons. The owners of the Railroads used their wealth to “persuade” government officials and those corrupt politicians gave land to the railroads. Later when oil became the hot commodity and took over the New Robber Barons once again used their money to bribe politicians and gain control in government. In 1913 the ultimate show of corruption was selling the country to the bankers, the New Robber Barons. Corrupt politicians and corruption in government is nothing new. The US citizen has been played for many years, bought and sold like a commodity on the financial market. As always, it’s all about the money and the ultra-rich.
I think we were played in the November 2024 election. We were backed into a corner and had to make a choice; Vote for immediate disaster or vote for disaster down the road. We chose to kick the can down the road but it’s still going to lead to disaster for the average person. With all the talk of AI (Artificial Intelligence) being used all over government and society and with a key investor in that technology so close to the President it has become obvious. Now I know why conservative media personalities and pundits wanted us to forget our principles and vote down the ballot. There might be a New Golden Age for the ultra-rich, famous and well connected but for the average US citizen that just means they will be more controlled. It’s easier to manipulate people when they are celebrating what they thought was a “Win” when in fact it actually is a loss down the road. The deep state is still in control and people are cheering every move they make.
Recently our new Treasury Secretary said AI will be used to rebuild the IRS. How stupid is this? That will be the end of the USA when AI (Artificial Intelligence) is used to rebuild the government. Even the Defense Department also recently acknowledged they were going to use AI to help with a nuclear attack response. They said if they don’t we will lose. Unfortunately the US citizen has already lost because of the the use of AI. We are slaves to technology, the New Golden Age is coming with Big Tech shackles for the average US citizen. It will be good times for the ultra-rich, famous and well connected. Sadly the clapping seals are applauding these type of actions while they keep repeating, “Winning.” The shackles are being locked while the seals are still tooting their horn.
No matter what people think, this country is all about big business. As hardworking citizens of the country you mean nothing except to enrich big business. It is a form of slavery. It has been this way for many years, at least since 1913, and it is not going to change anytime soon. We now have a businessman as President, which side do you think he will help, big business or hardworking citizens? We will soon see, sadly I don’t think the result will be what people expect.
Many are saying there will be a “New Golden Age” starting under President Trump. As usual with many on the so-called conservative side, they just bury their heads in the sand because all will be “Well.” Yes there are people really that stupid. Now they can sit back and relax because someone else is going to solve all the problems of the country. They don’t have to do anything. Some things never change and neither will the problems of the country.
Since the election of 2020 President Trump has used the slogan, “Make America Great Again” and started the “MAGA” movement. With the talk of the “New Golden Age” and how he is surrounding himself with the ultra-rich bring to mind a simple question and observation, When President Trump talks today about Making America Great Again the question is, “For Who?” Many might not like the answer.
